My interest and awareness of mindfulness became more centered during the lockdown in 2020. The world stopped and we all took a good look around. Things which had become so important to us and retrospectively had blocked our personal development began to slide to the left. Smaller moments became more important. There was so much uncertainty and worry but objects of beauty popped back on my radar and I chose to slide right and but them on a higher profile. I noticed how my mindset became more relaxed amongst the chaos as though returning to the childhood of curiosity and wonder. I liked that part of me and wanted to keep it.
